Certain raster formats allow you to create preview snapshots (or thumbnails) of images so that you do not have to open the image itself to view it. The preview is limited in size to 320-by-320 pixels.
To create a preview of a specific raster:
· Use the IN_CreatePreviewFile function.
The preview image is created.
