C++ Developers

Position summary

Work as a member of a cross-functional product team of software development, product specialist, quality assurance, and documentation professionals. Participate in the design and implementation of key frameworks and architectural components for a complex 2D visualization system and prototype construction for evaluation of concept and feasibility.

Skills and qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a software development environment, 5+ years experience for Senior positions
• Solid programming skills in C++ in Windows environment
• Top notch oral and written communication skills
• B.S. Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• C/C++ (MFC, STL, ATL, ActiveX/COM, VS6 and/or VS.NET) skills required on MS Windows (NT4, 2K, XP, etc.)
• Experience with win32 APIs for printing, WinInet and socket communications (2+ years)
• Experience with Windows Driver Layer internals an asset 
• Motivated, self-starter, desire/ability to learn independently, requiring a minimum of supervision
• Experience with HTML, HTTP, XML programming desired
  

Additional Assets

• Reverse engineering experience
• Experience with Windows GDI, MFC, ActiveX/COM
• UI design experience for Windows or Java applications(Swing)
• Experience with Java RMI and HTTP
• Experience with Linux or Fedora
• Experience with CAD formats, raster formats or reading vector data
• Experience with raster manipulation techniques
• Experience with scanning
