Once the design is finalized, the developers code to the specification, constantly striving to improve the consistency, reliability, quality, and performance of the entire Spicer product line. Finance and Administration is the hub of all corporate activities and plays a key role in serving our customers. From processing and shipping orders, this team is versatile and possesses great people skills. Financial and Management reports are also assembled and analyzed to provide up-to-date and complete information for an ongoing review of operations, keeping Spicer Corporation focused on its goals and objectives. Marketing works with every department to create and plan for public relations, trade shows, communications materials, lead generation programs and the web site. Marketing develops programs designed to provide our potential customers with the information they require to make a buying decision. Product Management provides the direction for product development. Product managers help to specify, develop and deliver our innovative, industry-leading and award-winning products. They do this by working closely with people within our organization such as sales, software development, quality assurance and customer support, as well as our external connections like value added resellers, representatives and end-users. Quality Assurance strives to fulfill its commitment to a high level of quality for all Spicer products through: the creation and implementation of manual and automated test procedures; rigorous usability testing; close cooperation with developers throughout the development cycle; and, ongoing technical assistance for Customer Service in the post-release phase. Sales is the primary contact for existing and potential customers of Spicer Corporation. The role of the Sales Manager is to develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients and to work with our authorized reseller channel to ensure that each of their customers' requirements for imaging or view-markup applications are met. Support Services employs a proactive approach in servicing and supporting our international Representatives, Value-Added Resellers, end users, and Spicer's direct sales force. A multifaceted group, Support Services contributes to both the internal and external services which Spicer Corporation provides on a day-to-day basis. Technical Communication's role is to provide the information our customers need about Spicer products to meet their goals. This "user advocacy" role includes advising on the design of products, developing context-sensitive online help, API and ActiveX help, producing user's guides, and other manuals and help files as required.
